Intro to Rock
Participants are introduced to outdoor rock climbing and the fundamentals of top rope belaying, recognizing hazards, reading a guidebook/topo, rock climbing gear, climbing movement, LNT practices, and a general understanding of how climbing systems work.
Follow The Leader
Participants learn the essential skills to be a competent second/follower; focusing on lead belaying, cleaning gear on a route, cleaning two bolt anchors and rappelling.
From Follower to Sport Leader
Participants learn the essential skills to be a competent sport leader; focusing on lead belaying, lead climbing movement, clipping techniques, bolt and gear assessment, no fall zones and the fundamentals of anchor construction.
Silver Senders
Specifically designed for middle aged women and nonbinary individuals.
Participants learn skills to transition from gym climbing to climbing outdoors.
A collaboration with Ground Up
We hosted recreational meetups, giving participants opportunities to climb outdoors, practice skills, and make connections.
