We envision a community transformed.
A future where power is redistributed, leadership reflects our communities, and the systems that have historically excluded Indigenous, Black, and People of Colour are actively dismantled.
Our vision goes beyond representation. We are working toward a climbing culture rooted in justice, care, and collective responsibility — one where BIPOC communities don't just participate, but lead, thrive, and belong unconditionally.
We're not just a rock climbing program — we're building a movement.
We recognize that climbing, like many outdoor spaces, has been shaped by systems of colonialism, patriarchy, and white supremacy. These systems continue to influence who belongs, who participates, and who leads. We exist to challenge and change them.
Our work sits at the intersection of outdoor recreation and social justice. Our community-led program creates a pipeline where today's learner becomes tomorrow's leader. Participants build critical awareness, learn from leaders who share their lived experience, and deepen their connection to the land and their community.
As a small, volunteer-led organization, we intentionally operate non-hierarchically because we cannot build equitable communities through structures that perpetuate the same systems we aim to change. Our work is deeply relational. We are guided by the needs of our community and committed to growing in ways that are sustainable, intentional, and rooted in collective care.
